Frequently asked questions about purchasing a trailer.
Our trailers are designed and built by industry professionals who build mobile homes on a daily basis. This is why all the chassis we offer are adapted in terms of ease, safety and speed of assembly. The platforms are built according to European standards of high durability, which small homes require. MH trailers are quality, comfort and safety in one!
We offer TH, THP and THM models. For more information, see the TRAILER TYPES tab.
The LIFT&GO trailer is our proprietary modular trailer design. As the first in Europe, we have designed and built a detachable trailer that allows treating a finished tiny house as cargo and enables its fully legal transport on a special frame and dedicated chassis. The ability to detach the tiny house from the trailer offers the convenience of having one chassis for multiple built-up frames, going for the mandatory technical inspection with just the chassis, or simply using the chassis for other purposes. The LIFT&GO trailer consists of a homologated running chassis built with 2 axles, a drawbar, a lighting beam with a license plate, and a steel frame used as the floor for the structure. The frames of LIFT&GO trailers have prepared spots for the installation of supports for leveling and positioning. Additionally, they have connections for recommended lifting supports, which can be mounted not only on the sides but also at the front and rear. This solution allows for easy connection of built-up frames – modules. Furthermore, all our frames have holes for connection with the structure of the build.
ONLY WITH US: ONE CHASSIS FOR ALL FRAME LENGTHS! This is a revolution in the industry and the only such solution in Europe!

In Poland, the first technical inspection of a trailer is carried out at any diagnostic station after three years from the date of registration. The second inspection should be carried out after two years, and after the second inspection, tests should be carried out annually. When buying our trailer, each customer receives a warranty card and a booklet of periodic inspections. The warranty for the purchased chassis is from one to two years.
MH trailers is the official manufacturer of tiny house chassis. This means that the trailers offered are fully homologated and approved for use in all of Europe. In Poland, to register a trailer, you need proof of purchase in the form of an invoice, a COC Certificate of Conformity issued by the manufacturer and a Statement of Vehicle Data and Information. With these documents, you can register a new trailer at the nearest Department of Communications during just one visit.
DMC stands for Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). It refers to the maximum allowable total weight of a trailer, which includes the trailer's own weight plus the weight of its load. MH Trailers manufactures heavy-duty trailers with a DMC of 3,500 kg. This means that the total weight of the trailer and its cargo must not exceed this limit. Our chassis start at just 580 kg. Thanks to their lightweight yet durable construction, it's possible to build your dream tiny house while staying within the permissible weight limit.
MH trailers use high-quality components from the Knott brand for their axles. The chassis are available in two-axle or three-axle versions, with a maximum axle load of 1,350 kg, 1,500 kg, or 1,800 kg. All axles are braked and mounted on rubber torsion bars, with a bolt pattern of 5x112. U-bolts are used to mount the axles, allowing for easy repositioning if needed. An exception is the LIFT&GO trailers, which feature fixed axle mounts. This combination of features ensures that the axles used in MH Trailers offer ease of use and, most importantly, safety on the road.
The price of an MH trailer depends on the selected model, specifications, and order quantity. We offer three pricing tiers: retail, wholesale (for larger orders), and a special rate for regular customers. The structures of MH trailers are hot-dip galvanized both on the outside and inside of the steel profiles. Hot-dip galvanizing involves immersing steel components in molten zinc. Each part is galvanized individually before assembly, ensuring the highest quality and long-lasting protection. Additionally, the trailers are equipped with drainage holes in key areas to allow water to escape from the profiles, preventing accumulation and corrosion.
MH trailers offers overrun devices from the Knott brand, specifically the KFG or KRV models, equipped with an overrun brake. In addition, the trailers come with a handbrake and a safety cable. In the event of accidental detachment while driving, the safety cable engages the handbrake lever, causing all wheels on the trailer to lock and bringing it to a stop.
An essential part of every MH trailer is the movable rear lighting bar. This solution allows the lighting to be positioned at two different height levels and makes it possible to extend the buildable area by up to 120 cm!
Each MH trailer is equipped with a jockey wheel. At MH trailers, we use the strongest knurled jockey wheel available on the market, which ensures smooth and easy maneuvering of the trailer during coupling and uncoupling from a vehicle.
There are two delivery options – personal pickup at our company headquarters, or transport provided by MH trailers. The second option is available for both trailers and accessories. MH trailers has its own transport vehicles and a forklift in case loading onto another trailer or platform is needed. The transport cost is determined individually, based on the destination address and the quantity of trailers and accessories ordered. The estimated transport price is 1.00 euro net per 1 km one way.
In MH trailers, the electrical wiring is mounted on a special frame outside the steel profiles. This setup allows easy access in case of repairs or modifications. In addition to the standard chassis lighting, MH trailers also feature LED marker lights. The voltage used is 12 V, and the entire lighting system is powered through a 13-pin European plug.
The wheels on tiny house trailer chassis play a crucial role in ensuring safety both while driving and when stationary. To guarantee maximum reliability, MH trailers use 195/R13 steel rims, reinforced tires with the same size and “C” rating, and a tire pressure of 6.5 bar. Additionally, reflective wheel covers are used for aesthetic, safety, and practical purposes, as they also protect the wheel nuts.
Depending on the model, there are two types of fenders and two mounting options. For two-axle trailers, smaller fenders are mounted using U-bolts or flat brackets. For three-axle trailers, larger fenders are used, mounted exclusively with U-bolts.
Accessories and some components used in our trailers are also available. These include leveling supports, lifting supports for the LIFT&GO frame, spare wheels, and wheel chocks. To view the full selection and pricing, use our configurator or contact us via the contact form.
The best way is to use our CONFIGURATOR, which allows you to submit a detailed order and receive an offer. You can also order via the CONTACT FORM on our website, by email at: sale@mh-trailers.com, or by phone: +48 789 770 594.

MH trailers with a low floor have a height of 51 cm, while flat floor trailers – including LIFT&GO models – have a height of 61 cm. That 10 cm difference is crucial when building a tiny house with a loft inside. Another perspective: in low-floor trailers, the wheels stick out above the build surface, while in flat-floor trailers they do not. That’s why for projects like container-style builds, a flat-floor trailer is recommended.
Yes, MH trailers produces both custom-built and non-homologated slow-moving frames. One of the available options is a durable 10x3 meter galvanized frame, ideal for larger homes, with a drawbar that can be repositioned from front to back.
You can purchase an MH trailer with cash, a loan, or leasing. MH trailers also offers assistance with obtaining financing.
MH trailers are versatile solutions, primarily designed for tiny house construction. However, our customers also use them for other purposes, including mobile food trucks, launching houseboats, cargo transport, or container-style builds. Thanks to their durability and functionality, MH trailers are an excellent foundation for a wide range of projects.
